American Holly

This is one of our favorite trees on the property. Today I cut a few small branches & placed them around the house to decorate with. I wanted the house to look just right for when my brother & mom came to visit. After taking him home from the hospital last Saturday, I wouldn’t have thought he’d see the house until spring.

Today has been a good day. I’m thankful for my family’s faith that’s been strengthened through this season. And all of the work that’s been done to the house feels like it’s not for nothing when friends & family can come over & enjoy the beauty around us.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
